I think my point and shoot camera is officially dead. The button won't trigger anything, and a battery replacement didn't hep.
It was free... from my grandfather... several years ago... and its only option was flash on and flash off. But, it made a nice backup camera for the SLR and was much easier to take on events... like, say, the bachelorette party tonight. I'd like to replace it with a digital. Camera is not the next major thing on the purchase list, though. So, we'll see. I expect it'll be a while since I'm not settled on what I want out of it; more features equals bigger, but I've also been wanting a small and sturdy camera good for carrying in the pocket. I might at least check out the very low end digitals for now... 2MP double A powered type stuff... something I wouldn't cry too long about if, say, I sat on it.
Poor little camera.
Maybe I'll disassemble it for cheap entertainment.
After I rescue the film...
